A new project called the Video Conversion Blog has been launched. The project aims to give free resources and advice to webmasters and system administrators who are managing servers using video conversion software. The website will be a portal for FFMPEG and MENOCDER discussion, benchmarking and comparison.

In addition to articles, discussion and documentation for server performance we will also offer our own range of static Linux binaries for FFMPEG. We hope these will provide a useful resource for webmasters who are unable to compile these utilities themselves, or don't have the time to keep.
